Brief Message from the Director

Thank you for visiting the Daly City - Public Works Department web site. As your newly appointed Public Works Director I have
over 30 years of public works experience. I first worked for a private contractor followed by the positions of City Engineer for
Concord, CA, Deputy Public Works Director for Mountain View, CA and most recently serving nearly ten years as Public Works Director
for Pittsburg, CA. I'm very excited to have the opportunity to serve the residents, businesses and property owners of Daly City.
Public Works Department staff is dedicated to providing superior services to the people of Daly City. Public Works prides itself on being
responsive to the needs of the community, and although we have many regular and routine jobs to perform we want to hear from you in order
to improve our service delivery. Daly City has far more residents than City staff, therefore we rely on residents to help identify and
report problems or provide suggestions to improve service delivery. The sooner problems are reported to Public Works the sooner staff
can respond and correct those problems.
